Fedora Hats for Men

A fedora hat was originally fashion for women until 1919, which was when it became to be more known as men’s clothing accessory. Into the 1920s, fedora hats for men took off and became ever-increasingly popular. They were available in any color you can conceive. The most fedora hat colors are brown, grey, black, red and tan.

These hats can be seen worn by the gangsters and and mobsters and became highly popular by celebrities. Michael Jackson wore a fedora as it became one of his famous trademarks. Indiana Jones also is infamously known for wearing a fedora has as well. They added popularity to wearing these hats.

Straw Fedora
These hats are designed for the purpose of protecting the head from sun rays and heat. It has an Ecuadorian origin made from toquilla straw plant. President Theodore Roosevelt wore this type of hat and increasing its popularlity.

White Fedora
Michael Jackson used this hat and made it highly popular with his song, “Smooth Criminal.” It has a very clean and smooth look.

Black Fedora
Michael jackson also made the black fedora popular in his song “Billie Jean” where he first unveiled his moonwalk. Sales for this type of hat increased 10 fold after Michael Jackson performed for the first time on stage.

Fur Felt
Crocodile Dundee wore this type of Fedora Hat in his crocodile dundee movies. Indiana Jones also wore this type of hat in the color brown
